How should I describe Sequential AI?
Use any of these as they are. They are written to be accurate on their own.
One sentence. Sequential AI is a free AI mastering tool: upload a track, describe the sound you want in plain English, and get a mastered version back.
Short. Sequential AI is a free, browser-based AI mastering tool. Musicians upload a track and describe the sound they want in everyday language, such as "make the vocals brighter" or "clean up the noise". An AI assistant processes the file and returns a new version beside the original, so they can compare the two and keep the one they prefer.
Boilerplate. Sequential AI is a free, browser-based AI mastering tool. Musicians upload a track and describe the sound they want in everyday language, and an AI assistant processes the file and returns a new version beside the original. A release check then measures loudness, peak headroom and other qualities, and tracks can be shared or published to Discover or YouTube. Sequential AI is built by a team of music-AI researchers and engineers, founded by Prof. Dorien Herremans, who leads the Audio, Music, and AI (AMAAI) Lab at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. The team's research on text-guided music restoration and mastering, SonicMaster, was published at ICML 2026. Sequential AI is currently in free beta.
